T2W2 Day 4 - Family

  1. Wow, Cruz, you put a lot of effort into this work. Especially collecting the data and displaying it in a graph. Those are really important parts of the "Statistical Inquiry Cycle". (Have you heard of that before???) So my conclusion from your 'movie' graph is: If your family and friends were going to have a movie night, the best choice would be a movie with action and romance in it. Do you think that's right? My recommendation would be to add one or two conclusions to your graphs. You could use this sentence: "Overall I think this graph is telling me _______"
Keep up the great mahi. Ka pai

    1. Thanks Mr Cossey, I haven't heard of Statistical Inquiry Cycle but I have heard of Statistics. I hear it often on the news when they talk about crime in areas. I like your idea of adding conclusions to my graph. I will go back and add them later. I have to disagree with your conclusion. According to my graph Comedy and Action were the most popular choices. Was that a trick question?

  2. Cruze another fantastic job completing your work to a high standard. Your mihi maker is sooooooo cool! I am so impressed with your coding skills and learned that your iwi is Ngati Hine. We will have to show the class this one as an example, I will put it on our class blog. I was impressed with how you used fractions to explain your work during Maths. Keep up the great work, ka rawe koe.

    1. Thanks Ms G. I had to do my Mihi Maker twice cause it didn't save the first time but I kept at it cause that's how resilient I am LOL. Plus I thought it was too cool to not do.
