  1. Kia ora Cruze! Every week I am stunned by the quality and quantity of mahi you produce. Your create this week was an absolute pleasure to read and see. The way you planned for this piece was through well thought out research, adding in your personal connection to the idea from your whanau travels. Finding the space to create your mural showed how much you think about all the different aspects of the task. Connecting the history of people who are role models and inspire the future generations to work for their dreams is sophisticated thinking, as is how you wove the representation of the train station into your concept. Understanding the materials that best suit the environment is another example of how thorough this create task is arranged. Leaving room for the future legends is nice touch and backs up the idea of following in the footsteps of our successful community leaders. The narrative you wrote starts with an exciting introduction which is followed by a highly detailed and descriptive account of what could have been only a few moments in time. Well done. Your narrative writing is on par with any non fiction writing you achieve, with a growing confidence of expressing yourself through complex sentences, e.g. "my fear had faded into curiosity". You continue to explain your maths thinking in well set and detailed ways, keep pushing yourself Cruze during our number talks. Thank you for another exceptional week of excellent work.
